Flamengo has a clear path to finally celebrate the Libertadores title in the streets of Rio next weekend. The match against Avaí of the last round of the Brasileirão was transferred to this Saturday (12) at Maracanã. Initially, the match must be on Sunday. That way, the date is free for the townspeople.

Although the club has not yet commented, there is already an internal movement for the party to take place on Sunday. In fact, it's not just the Libertadores conquest that is being celebrated, but also the Copa do Brasil title won weeks ago. Saturday's match against Avaí will be Flamengo's last in the Brasileirão.

Flamengo originally intended to celebrate the Libertadores title shortly after returning to Rio. But the club reached an agreement with the Regional Electoral Court (TRE-RJ) and promised not to organize a street party. All because the team's return coincided with the Sunday of the presidential election. So the club had to wait a few days and the end of the Brasileirão seems to be the most favorable moment for the party.
